Need help debugging the printer related "Access denied ...
OK, I looked there & I do not have any box checked for I want to be able to give others access to my files or the one that says I want to be able to allow others to print to my printer. If these are not checked is all access denied? As far as I know I am not on a network, I do have the icon on desktop & in control

I am now past the Access Denied point in the install of the printer but as the driver was installing, the Vista machine complained of an Out of Memory condition so I rebooted and haven't gotten The message I get when I try to connect is that Windows cannot connect to the printer. Weird permissions issue
Applied hotfix Q258742 to stop Printer"Access Denied" error on NT Server 4.0 running SP5. Was getting error within one hour of stopping and restarting spooler, after fix, lasted 4 hours. How do I stop this fom happening? Server is DHCP server, print server and Backup Domain controller. Clients are win95 and win98.

Net printing problem
I now get an Access Denied message with no indication what access is being denied. Printers that were setup before the fix are working fine.
